We'll explore "renegade" papermaking—low-tech, accessible techniques that anyone can recreate at home without expensive equipment. Whether you're an artist, environmentalist, crafter, educator, or simply curious, you'll leave with the skills to continue making your own unique paper.
Participants will:
Learn the fundamentals of handmade paper making
Create paper pulp from recycled paper
Build simple paper making tools from everyday materials
Pull, press, and dry handmade sheets
Experiment with textures and natural inclusions
Take home their own handmade paper and instructions for making more
No experience necessary. All materials are provided.
